Pultruded Fibreglass Columns

   Unlike Permacast columns, these are made using an extrusion process that makes them strong and light. Due to the extrusion process used to manufacture; these columns are only available in non tapered square and round versions. The walls of the Pultruded columns are thinner than the Permacast columns and have half the load bearing capacity however they are perfect for situations where there isn't too much weight to be supported.

   Pultruded Columns come white but require a coat of fiberglass paint after installation. These columns are meant to stand alone and do not require any form of support on the inside. Pultruded Fiberglass columns are not ideal for wrapping around existing supports because they are very difficult to finish after splitting. These columns are available in sizes ranging from 8”-12” in diameter and up to 12 feet in height.
