Wall
Panel Wainscoting
Wall Panel is less formal than a Raised Panel and has a more
casual feel to it which is nice when you want to brighten up your
family room or basement walls. Don't let the casualness of this
product limit you to the family room though, this wainscoting can fit
right into any room in the house and will dress up any Dining Room
with old trim.
The wall paneled wainscot is just
that, it uses the wall to create the middle panel. The fact that
there is no panel makes this the least expensive of our wainscoting
options. Once painted most people wouldn’t know or question the
fact that they are looking at a the drywall. Due to the way the
wainscoting installs, it allows us to avoid wall pugs and phone jacks
without compromising the symmetry throughout the room. If your walls
are not perfectly smooth, we can cover them first with a thin sheet
of MDF and install the wainscoting right over it, therefore hiding
any visible marks and imperfections.
The standard installation finished height for Wainscoting is a 36" height for an 8 foot ceiling and approximately 42" for a 9 foot ceiling. The idea is not to cut the wall in half with the installation. Our Wainscoting can easily be adjusted for height so if you want a taller finished height, you only have to ask.
Wainscoting Installation on Stairs and especially curved stairs are not a problem, flexible material is available for installation on curved walls and curved stairs. This means you wont have visible seams on your curved walls after installation.
